"Yesterday is History, Tomorrow a Mystery, Today is a Gift; Thats why it's called the Present"

"The sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottoms dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun."
I cannot believe that tomorrow will be sunny and in it's 90s, while today was all rainy and in it's 70s.  The weather cannot make up it's mind!  (rolls eyes)

Anyway..  Okay, so I'm having trouble posting a blog everyday.  I cannot help it, but I never seem to take time into writing everyday.  Well, I will post about all the interesting and cool stuff going on; I just won't be posting a blog everyday.

Today, I talked to my mum, then we had our bible reading together [we do that everyday (except Saturdays)], I went to a store and bought cookie dough, made chocolate chip cookies (yum! my favorite), ate some cookies, did school, went to Matt and Lydia's, went with Lydia to pick up Mysia (so she could show me where her school is), then we picked up Malachi from daycare, went to their house, crocheted while the kiddo's watched cartoons on pbs, ate supper when Matt got home, crocheted some more while and talked to Moses (he came while we were eating), and watched part of Tremors 2 while crocheting.  At about a little after 8pm, I looked out the window, and saw that it was dark. I don't like to be out at night, driving alone, especially when it's dark!  So I said goodbye to Matt and Moses, and left for home.  And now, I am home, with my family.  :]  I cannot wait until tomorrow though.

An apple a day, keeps the doctor away

"Did you know the apple tree, the apply tree, the apply tree.."
We've always been told that an apple a day, will keep the doctor away.  Why, it could just be a myth, or it could just be the true!  I don't know, but I do know that Sam, a few friends of mine, and I, went to Plaster's Apple Orchard this morning around 10:30.  We went apple picking, and got a huge bucket of apples!
After we got the apples, we headed to Ritter Springs Park, ate our lunch and apples there, and then went wondering around. We waded threw creeks, climbed rocks while going up a hill to a cave, through rocks in a creek, and just had fun.  After the rock climb up a hill to the cave, I slid down the hill, while the others  went carefully down it.  I thought that sliding down it was a lot more fun! ;)
Next we dropped of my friend, Becca, off at her house, and then met up with Beth at a white bridge that went over train tracks.  We went across the bridge, and headed to a small park that was super close by.  We slid down the slide, swung on swings, and then headed back, across the bridge, to where we left the vehicles.
Then, we all decided to go to Braums to eat some ice-cream!  We stayed there for awhile and talked.  A while later, Calli, a friend of mine, joined us, and then after awhile we finally went our owns ways.

When I got home, I saw a cute guy, running up to me with a huge smile, while saying. "Abby's here!! Abby's here!!!"  I picked up my cute little nephew and hugged him tight.  I didn't really want to let go, but had to, because my niece had ran up to me after hearing that I had come home.  My oldest brother had brought his family to my house to be with my parents, and spent the day with them.  (They and along with my other brother and his family, with my parents, had a cookout today.)

I played with my niece and nephew, until they left at 8pm.  We played with a tea set for about 5 minutes, then I built them a tent in my room, and then I played hide-and-go-seek with them.  They loved that game! ;]  (haha)

Well, now, I am resting, from all that had gone on today, and yesterday.  Although, I still have another big day awaiting me tomorrow. :)

"Oh, did you know that apple tree, that lives in my backyard."

So long! :)

Sunshine Cross

"There is sunshine in my soul today"
This morning I woke up around 6:25, and started to finish my homework before noon.  Joshua, my boyfriend, invited me to go to his house to chill and just hang out.  Well, my mom said that in order to go, I had to finish my homework. So, I stayed up til around 11:30 last night, just to do homework, and then did the rest this morning.  Well, I finished around 9am, and was extremely happy!  Although at about 10:45am I got a call from Joshua, saying that I need to come around 1:30 instead of 12:00, because his mom wasn't going to be home until 1:30.  So, I woke up early for nothing. (haha) Well, at least it's better to be safe than sorry.
The rest of the morning I talked to family and listened to Christmas Music by a quartet called Gold City. At about 1:18pm I left the house and headed over to Joshua's.  I ended up being there before his mom, so I drove around the block for about 10 minutes until he called saying that his mom was back.
We talked most of the time, watched most of the new James Bond 007 movie, which we ended up talking through.  (haha)  I think it was right before the movie, but I'm not too sure, Josh gave me a red box.  It was bigger than a ring box, but the box was fancy.  I looked at him with a curious look, because: 1. My Birthday isn't even this month, and 2. There is no other reason why he should give me something.  He told me to open the box several times, and finally I opened it.  There it was, a beautiful sterling silver cross necklace.  I really didn't know what to say.  I don't know why he gave me something nice like that when there is no reason for it.  But, I'm glad he did.  It was super sweet of him, and I like it; I like it a lot!! ^-^
Besides getting the beautiful cross necklace, I had a wonderful time with him!

After I left his house, I met up with Sam at McDonald's to eat, because I was starving. (Not really, my stomach was just hungry.)   Kristi was there, and the first thing I did was show her my necklace!  After that, Sam ordered my food while I went to the 'girls room', and when I got backs we all talked while I ate.  After I finished eating, Sam, Kristi and I were trying to think of what to do next. Go to the park, watch a movie, go put putting, etc.  Well, we ended up spending two hours and 20 minutes at McDonald's without realizing it.  We all decided to go ahead and go to my house and play Risk.  When I got home, I couldn't wait, and just had to show my mom my necklace!  She was with my grandma, dad, and great aunt, so I went ahead and showed my necklace to all of them.  After I showed of my necklace, Kristi, Sam and I started the game. Although, we had to end the game at 9:30 because Kristi had to leave; which means that we didn't get to finish the game.  Sam was winning (it figures), I was second (thanks to Kristi!!), and Kristi was close behind me.  Poor Kristi! Sam kept trying to take over her property, and it was hard for her to defeat him.
I had fun learning how to play Risk, and I cannot wait until the next time!

Rollin' in the Sunshine

"Roll, roll, roll your skates, gently down the street."
Today, I went with my Great Aunt, Patty, to visit a few yard sales that were on my block, and see what they had.  Well, we stopped by the first one, and there was nothing that I was interested in. The next one that we stopped by, had more things than the last one, but most were just junk. I bought something there for my grandma who lives in KS, and I bought me an audio.  Finally, we came upon the last one, and most of what they had, was baby stuff. BUT, I did find me a pair of roller-blades, for five dollars!!  WHOOPEE!!  :-D

Well, today I went to Wal*mart with my mom.  I split up from her, to go look at some "Love Inspired" books to see if there were any interesting ones, that I haven't bought or read yet.  Well, I found three that I wanted, but only bought one, because I didn't really have much spending money.  After I got it, I called my mom to see where she was.  "Hi! You've called..."   Great.. I got her voice mail. She obviously didn't turn her cell phone on.  So, I walked around looking for her in all the food isles, the medicine isles, the clothes department, the other side of the store, EVERYWHERE.   I decided to call her again, and ended up calling her about 3 more times.  Still, the same thing.  No rings.. nothing, except.  "Hi! You've called..."  And so, I kept looking.  EVERYWHERE!  Or... so I thought.  I looked everywhere.. except for the housewares isles.  I started to look through them, and then, I spotted.. my dog?  No. (haha)  My mom!  :)  I told her that I tried to call her a ton of times to find out where she was.  But, at least all is well. :)  We finished shopping, and went home.  What an eventful day, I've had!  I love to go to Wal*mart!

Rain Drops Keep Fallin' on My Head

"Rain, rain, go away.."
Wow! Is it pouring or what??
I'm on the computer playing a game on facebook, called FrontierVille, while the clouds are crying with all their might, and letting their tears fall from the sky onto the earth.  I like rain, but gee, it's kinda boring in the house when it rains.  There is not much to do, besides cleaning, and homework, and such..  And that's even worse! :-P
So how's everyone else on this fiiinnnee afternoon?  Getting ready for supper, I assume?
Today, around 3:50, my boyfriend, Joshua, stopped by my grandma's house (I was over there) and wanted me to sign his cast.  He had a wreck on his motorcycle, landed in a ditch, and broke his ankle. :(
He has to have a cast on it, and to walk around, he has to use crutches.  Please, if you can, pray that it will heal.

Well, well, well.. I just got a call from my brother.  He asked me if I'd go clean out a church's gutter, as soon as I can.  And yikes!  It's pouring!  I'm gonna get drenched if I go now, but I need to clean it out soon!  The gutter belongs to a church, and since it's full of leaves and who-knows-what, the water pouring over and  is somehow leaking into the sanctuary.  Well, I guess I better gear up into a water proof outfit.  I'll post about the gutter, and how it went, later.

I hope that you "come again another day" and check out my posts!

So long! :)

My First Blog Post

Hey, hey, hey! It's faaat Albert!  (haha)  Just kidding. :)  It's only me, Abigail.  What's up everyone?  Enjoying this nice rainy weather on this fine afternoon??  I love it!  It is nice to hear the soft patter of the rain hitting the window. Plus, it's nice to know that Fall is finally here with it's cool breeze blowing about.  Already the leaves are changing colors, and the trees are shaking their clothes off; getting its skin bare and ready for its white coat that it will get this winter.
Okay, so I'm getting ahead of myself. Winter is not here yet, and Fall is only beginning.. buuutt the leaves are turning into the lovely orange, red, and brown colors, and they are falling onto the ground for kids to step on and hear the crisp, crunchy noise that the leaves make. I don't know about you. but I think fall is the most... well, I cannot say "wonderful time of the year", because that's the Christmas phrase!  Hmm.  I know!  Fall is "the most fantastic time of the year."  That's it! Fantastic!  Well, it is! :-D  It's not too cold for coats, but just cool enough
for a light jacket.  There's always colorful leaves, big, round, orange pumpkins, caramel apples, candy corn, peanut-butter kisses (yum!), hayrides, and sooo much more!  :)
Even YOU have to agree that sounds fantastic! ;)

"Na, na, na
I'm Gonna have a fantastic Fall Hey, hey, hey!"

So long! :)
